Our clever class 2m embraced all things irish  we had a look at irish dancing, the girls loved trying  on the colourful dresses. They were surprised by how heavy and stiff the dresses were. Some of the children  had a go at counting up to 10. The whole class learnt how to welcome the other children who were also enjoying learning about other languages.

The class next door 2p were making hand held fans because their chosen international language was spanish. Our other year 2 neighbour  2 s had a look at Chinese cooking .Mr Shuttleworth very kindly let us try some noodles which he stir fried , the children then had a go at writing their names in chinese symbols.
